About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. This is a newly developed role, and the post holder will take on the position of Clinical and Professional lead for the Tier 4 CAMHS Psychology Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take on a new Consultant Psychologist position, designed to have overall leadership, professionally and clinically for Clinical Psychology staff within Tier 4 CAMHS.
  • Supervise senior and other qualified Clinical Psychology staff, and hold a reasonable clinical caseload.
  • Contribute to Service development, and be involved in training others, and developing the psychological knowledge of other professionals within the Tier 4 service.
  • Liaise with other agencies as required, and have a high degree of multi-disciplinary working.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:

Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, and membership of the HCPC.Extensive assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist.Experience of specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention with clients across all care settings.Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.How to Apply
