Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live as independently as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
- Empathetic and caring nature, with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep shifts.
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.38, including holiday pay.
