Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
About the Role:You will be responsible for assisting residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible. This will involve observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs
- Assist residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible
- Observe, monitor, and keep a record of patient conditions
- Treat each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty
- A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with Learning disabilities
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting
- Tmva - If you do not have the required training, it is mandatory that you attend our specialist 3-day PMVA training course
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- The right to work
