Academic Support Specialist

As an Academic Support Specialist, you will work in a specialist resource base at Lord William's School, providing directed support and supervision to children with Autism and Communication and Interaction needs. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized support to students with complex needs
- Developing and implementing tailored learning plans
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure student progress
What We Offer:
* Competitive salary: £12.50 per hour (Grade 6, Scale Points 8-13)
* Paid leave entitlement: 5.45 weeks
* Temporary Maternity Cover contract (starting in February)
