We are seeking a highly skilled Support Worker in Education to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will work at a Specialist SEN School near the town of Thame, supporting students with social, emotional and mental health challenges.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and on-site specialists to enhance student support
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' academic growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents and carers to ensure effective communication

Requirements:
  • Recent degree in Psychology, Criminology or related field
  • Prior experience working with children and individuals with special needs desirable
  • Must be empathetic, proactive and committed to improving mental health services
Position Information:
  • Location: A Specialist SEN School near Thame
  • Salary: £24,500 - £27,750 per annum (pro rata), equivalent to £70-£80 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30
