At Academics Ltd, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges in a specialist SEN school just outside Thame.

This is an ideal role for graduates or soon-to-be graduates looking to gain experience supporting vulnerable students.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Job Description:

  • To support the well-being and education of students with special educational needs
  • To work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop individualized support plans
  • To provide emotional support and guidance to students, parents, and staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, education, or child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff
