About the Role
Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide vital support to students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Located just outside Thame, our specialist SEN school caters to students with complex trauma and attachment disorders, as well as generalized anxiety and behaviour difficulties.

Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will work closely with our on-site Psychologists and Therapists to ensure each student receives the most effective education possible. Your duties will include providing individualized support to students, aiding their academic learning, and helping them develop essential interpersonal skills. You will also assist the class teacher and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements
We are looking for a recent graduate with a strong passion for mental health. A degree in Psychology or Criminology would be advantageous, but not essential. Experience working with children and individuals with additional needs is desirable. Above all, we require an open-minded, resilient individual with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our students.
