About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Keyworker to join our team at Livewell Southwest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with mental health difficulties.

Job Description

As a Mental Health Keyworker, you will work closely with service users, their families, and carers to provide high-quality support and care. Your primary focus will be on improving the health and wellbeing of children, young people, and adults with mental health difficulties. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions, assess risks, and develop individualized care plans.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to service users and their families
  • Working with service users to identify and address their mental health needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working in mental health settings, preferably with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures

You will also need to possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

$35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on experience
