Job Description

The SEO Site Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for our allocated site/brand. This involves leading the team to manage the website, increase organic traffic and revenue, through information architecture improvements, content management, and SEO techniques.

The successful candidate will be data-driven and performance-minded, ensuring projects are prioritized accordingly and optimized to meet KPIs. They will also have support from external partners, including Botify, Pi-datametrics, Partoo, and Croud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SEO Performance: Owning, driving, and optimizing performance.
  • Delivering the SEO Strategy: Working with the SEO Lead to develop the site's SEO roadmap and strategy.
  • Keyword Research and Technical Issues: Conducting keyword research and managing site technical issues to support the SEO roadmap.
  • Team Management: Line management of the SEO Team, including probationary reviews, 1:1s, ER and hiring involvement, performance management, and engagement with Frasers Group annual performance cycles.
  • Reporting and KPIs: Monitoring and improving the site's KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Insight and Opportunity Analysis: Highlighting opportunities and developments across the channel.
  • PR Campaigns: Working with the SEO Manager to deliver SEO link building campaigns.
  • Best Practice: Staying abreast of and contributing to wider industry developments.
Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role, with the ability to lead and engage with direct reports.
  • Strong focus on the technical aspects of SEO.
  • Working knowledge of link building using various techniques.
  • Experience owning SEO responsibilities at a site that derives its revenue through consumer traffic.
  • Experience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimization, test plan construction, and in-depth analysis.
  • Experienced in creating and presenting campaign reports, including ROI and conversion rates.
  • Strong understanding of web usability and site design, with a quantitative approach to traffic measurement, and experience with collecting and interpreting site visitor statistics.
  • Research skills to identify, build, and prioritize essential keyword sets.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects.
  • Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing.
  • Experience with content marketing and social campaigns.
