Bid Manager

A Top 5 Accountancy firm in Central London is seeking a skilled Bid Manager to support the Bids & Pursuits Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a draft project plan that details all milestones within the opportunity lifecycle, including meetings, strategy and proposition development, document production, presentation preparation, and debriefs.
  • Advise opportunity teams on the requirements of the plan and getting their buy-in to follow it.
  • Drive activity on the plan so all milestones and deliverables are met on time.
  • Lead document production, including booking and briefing design resources, day-to-day liaison with design teams, booking any reviews, and organizing any printing or other collateral.
  • Help to develop and promote best practice systems and procedures, including bid tools, methodologies, templates, and credentials data.
  • Maintain version control and ensure all tender documents are signed off by an appropriate member of the team.

Requirements:

  • Interest in bidding and winning.
  • Relevant experience working in a bid and pursuits team, ideally from a professional services business.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong English writing and communication skills.
  • Sound experience and good understanding of proposal production.
  • Ability to adapt style to different stakeholders.
