Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our award-winning kitchen brigade at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa.

Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading their section in the kitchen, ensuring it is fully prepared for service times, and controlling the other chefs working on it.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support junior members of the team
  • Assess quality control and adhere to service standards
  • Produce own work in accordance with deadlines
  • Seek solutions to minor obstacles
  • Project a pleasant and positive professional image

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a rosette-standard kitchen environment
  • Banqueting experience
  • Knowledge of classic food preparations, dishes, and cooking
  • Experience in British cuisine
  • Experience in working in a multi-outlet kitchen operation
  • Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation
