The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Breedon business in the newly created role of Marketing Manager, working within our GB Materials Division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building the marketing strategy for the division, taking the lead in the development, delivery, and measurement of all marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the delivery of the GB Materials marketing plan to support our business objectives and strategy.
  • Effectively communicate the Breedon product, service, and solution offering to our target audiences.
  • Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to develop high-quality content and marketing campaigns that engage and resonate with our target audience.
  • Work collaboratively with commercial, communications, and IT teams to develop and maintain a marketing customer contact database.
  • Organize events such as trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Define necessary marketing collateral to support regions and commercial teams.
  • Analyze customer insight and trends, market analysis, and marketing best practice and incorporate into rational for marketing plans.
  • Measure and evaluate performance of marketing activities with regular reporting to and management information.
  • Partner with Product Managers to support new product launches and product marketing campaigns.
  • Work with Group Communications and Engagement team to ensure alignment between GB Materials activities and wider group communication plans.
  • Day-to-day management of external agency relationships.
  • Work with Head of Marketing and Innovation to develop and manage marketing budget.
  • Work with Head of Marketing & Innovation and HR to develop the GB Materials marketing team.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience in B2B marketing - background in construction or building product manufacturing would be advantageous.
  • Demonstratable success in delivering effective marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Formal qualification/s in marketing or a related field.
  • Team leadership and development.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Copywriting skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiar with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (desirable).
