About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Marketing to join our team at Better Placed Limited. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Oversee market research and adjust strategies to meet changing market conditions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to the Senior Management Team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key partners.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports for the Senior Management Team.
  • Establish a consistent corporate image across all product brands and promotional materials.
  • Direct and oversee the marketing budget and forecasting.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team in executing marketing strategies.
  • Design and monitor team KPIs to ensure consistent performance.
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance revenue growth.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Assist in internal communications to develop the internal brand and corporate image.
  • Take ownership of key industry events to ensure a return on investment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant covenants.
  • Develop a customer feedback strategy for product enhancements.
  • Be the custodian of our clients' brand guidelines.
About You
  • You will be a degree-educated professional with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive marketing teams and programs.
  • Proficient in CRM software and digital analytics tools.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Lead by example and encourage employee and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong and effective communicator, able to manage and operate a business unit while providing detailed reporting and accurate numbers to the board.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to spot emerging trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the homeowner and home mover market is preferred.
