About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Onboarding Manager to join our team at McLean HR. As a Client Onboarding Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of clients across various business areas, including private wealth, corporate, and high net worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the onboarding of various clients, ensuring accurate and timely adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring client AML records are fully up to date through periodic AML refreshes and file remediation.
  • Conduct ongoing Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) and Sanctions monitoring for existing clients.
  • Assess, review, and gather client KYC documentation for those clients subject to Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), including escalation to the Compliance team/MLRO.
  • Risk rate new and existing clients in accordance with their status and agreed risk profile/category.

Requirements:

  • Strong client-facing experience in a front office environment.
  • Strong experience working within financial services, preferably 3-5 years.
  • A strong background in performing KYC/AML processes/procedures and working with multiple clients both in the UK and overseas.
  • Experience implementing procedures and EDD.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
