About the Role:

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Client Onboarding Specialist to join their dedicated Transitions team in investment operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with 1-2 years of experience in client servicing, middle office, or back office operations to transition into a project management/client engagement capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers, the client account group, and sales teams to ensure the smooth onboarding of new institutional investors across all investment strategies and multi-asset classes.
  • Contribute to process improvements to support transition activities from front to back.
  • Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across internal teams, including the Front Office, and with external relationships.
  • Gain valuable experience across the full client lifecycle, including new account openings, account closures, facilitating custodian transitions, in-specie transfers, and market openings.

Requirements:

  • A degree and a minimum of 12 months' investment operations experience, such as client onboarding, client account opening, or client servicing, gained from a financial services firm.
  • A strong desire to advance skills and experience in a Client Account Transitions role.
