Job Title: Client Onboarding Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Package

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our Client Services function, you will be responsible for performing client onboarding and AML checks for new clients, reviewing application documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform client onboarding and AML checks for new clients
  • Review application documents, ensuring AML documents are correct and certified up to specified standards
  • Work closely with Wealth Managers and Associates to ensure proper compliance
  • Quality assurance checks on all new accounts
  • Confirm KYC requirements and account opening needs of new custodians
  • Risk assessment of new clients, review for sanctions, negative press or PEP's as per AML guidelines
  • Work on a variety of financial services products, including onshore and offshore providers
  • Update and maintain client records on CRM system and with Platform Service Provider
  • Approve platform requests, including payment requests, new account opening etc.

Requirements:

  • Proven Client Onboarding experience gained from within a Wealth, Investment, Private Banking or Platform environment
  • Experience of KYC and AML onboarding
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, including excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and wealth managers alike in a tactful and diplomatic manner
  • Strong team player, with the ability to help mentor more junior team members
