Oversee Complex Feeding Disorders

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to fill a clinical lead position within our team. This role will involve providing highly specialist assessment and support for infants experiencing physical eating and drinking difficulties.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, looking to develop their expertise in a clinical lead role. You will be responsible for developing the area of service and supporting clinicians working within the Neonatal Unit and community feeding.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide a highly specialist and compassionate speech and language therapy service for children and babies experiencing physical feeding difficulties.
  • To provide support and supervision for less experienced therapists, assistants, and students.
  • To stay aware of changing evidence base and NICE guidelines as appropriate to the clinical field.

You will act as the clinical lead therapist for paediatric dysphagia across Gloucestershire, holding a specialist caseload and supporting the team to deliver evidence-based and high-quality support to our service users.
