Zachary Daniels Recruitment is seeking an experienced E-commerce Director to lead the digital commerce strategy for a multi-channel fashion retailer based in London.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement E-commerce Strategy: Create a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead E-commerce Team: Oversee the e-commerce team in optimising online sales performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.
- Operate E-commerce Platforms: Ensure seamless integration with physical stores and oversee day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platforms.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, IT, and customer service, to drive cohesive and effective e-commerce initiatives.
- Performance Management: Manage budgets, set performance targets, and report on key e-commerce metrics and KPIs.
- Technical Optimisation: Ensure the e-commerce platform is fully optimised for mobile, SEO, and conversion rate improvements.
- Digital Tool Development: Lead the development and implementation of new digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer journey.
- Culture Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the e-commerce team.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in e-commerce management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the fashion retail industry.
- Success: Demonstrated success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
- Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and online merchandising.
- Technology: Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and related technologies.
- Data-driven: Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
