We are seeking a driven and passionate sales professional to join our team as an Ophthalmology Business Development Manager. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience selling in surgical or ophthalmology looking to develop their career.
We specialize in cataract surgery, offering lenses, surgical tools, and other devices for various stages of ophthalmic procedures. As a key member of our Sales Team, you will benefit from supportive and creative leadership, growth plans backed by innovative product launches, and a versatile portfolio of innovative and high-quality products.

As an Ophthalmology Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing your territory, developing key accounts within private hospitals and the NHS. You will utilize your sales expertise and creativity to build on existing relationships and open up new business opportunities:
- Develop a business plan to achieve overall business objectives
- Map locality trust, corporate accounts & commissioning funding flows
- Develop and execute an integrated engagement strategy plan for surgical products across defined strategic accounts
- Lead engagement and partnership activities with senior clinical & non-clinical leadership, commissioners, and C-suite stakeholders
- Engage and influence senior commissioners through removal of restrictive commissioning in eye care
To be successful as an Ophthalmology Business Development Manager, you will need medical sales experience within eye care or surgical devices. You must be a driven, motivated, and dedicated individual with a real hunger to succeed and excel in your field.
