About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Supplier Performance Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of rotorcraft turbines and contribute to the success of our UK facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage the performance and improvement of the Supply Chain for Safran Helicopter Engines UK suppliers.
  • Facilitate and coordinate activity with internal departments to identify, risk assess, and improve supplier performance.
  • Manage the performance level of a panel of suppliers, including handling day-to-day project performance and supply chain risks.
  • Coordinate and attend supplier visits, assess supply chain and supplier capability, and identify potential risks.
  • Facilitate monthly supplier reviews, prepare and plan performance reviews, and establish action plans with suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier ability to carry out production programmes and industrialisation, formalise risk analysis, and manage industrial maturity.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Supply Chain/Production, preferably in customer/supplier relationships.
  • Lean 6 Sigma and MRPII knowledge, Microsoft package literacy, and ERP experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, experience in supply chain management, and supplier development.
  • Ability to improve supplier performance, create process flows, and lead time analysis.
  • Professional, self-motivated, and well-organised, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
