Job Summary

Safran Helicopter Engines is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Purchasing & Procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the performance and improvement of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage the performance and improvement of the supply chain for Safran Helicopter Engines UK suppliers.
  • Facilitate and coordinate activity with internal departments to identify, risk assess, and improve supplier performance.
  • Manage the performance level of a panel of suppliers, including handling a portfolio of suppliers, coordinating supplier visits, and assessing supply chain and supplier capability and capacity.
  • Identify, advance, and mitigate potential supply chain risks and put in place associated improvement and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate monthly supplier reviews and present to management as required.
  • Utilize measures and communicate overall performance, including milestones of industrialization, supply chain (OTD), and quality (PPM).

Requirements

  • Significant experience in supply chain/production, preferably in the areas of customer/supplier relationships (purchasing/quality).
  • Lean 6 Sigma and MRPII (basics/CPIM) basis and tools is a plus.
  • Literate in Microsoft package (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
  • To know and use an ERP (SAP).
  • Align with corporate methodologies and reporting tools.
