About the Role

Safran Helicopter Engines is seeking a skilled Logistics Administrator to join our team in Fareham, UK. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the physical and electronic flow of spares, components, and engines to our maintenance centre and manufacturing work centres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily and weekly work plans on our ERP system
  • Adhere to stock management systems through accurate administration on our ERP system
  • Assist with daily physical picking and kitting requirements, including material movement on our ERP system
  • Adhere to the management of SLED (shelf life expire date) controlled materials through our ERP system
  • Adhere to cycle count targets, with physical counting and processing on our ERP system
  • Support the team with 5S projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal customers
  • Full adherence to quality and HSE policies and procedures
  • Unload daily deliveries
  • Process goods receipted in line with the goods receipt procedure on our ERP system
  • Store parts in designated locations using lifting equipment as applicable
  • Process movements of goods using our ERP system
  • Cut raw material bars into smaller bars and billets and electronically issue material on our ERP system
  • Physically and electronically kit and issue raw material to the machine shop, in accordance with procedure
  • Put away and issue parts, maintaining correct stock levels in the correct locations, physically and electronically
  • Continuous improvement and 5S

Requirements

  • English and Maths GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C)
  • Responsive, methodical, and organised, especially for document management
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate
  • Solutions-focused, curious thinking, problem-solving
  • Compliance with the company's standards, methods, and logistics tools
  • IT understanding in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
