About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team at Safran Helicopter Engines. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the physical and electronic flow of spares, components, and engines to our maintenance centre and manufacturing work centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily and weekly work plans on our ERP system, ensuring accurate administration and adherence to stock management systems.
- Assist with daily physical picking and kitting requirements, including material movement on our ERP system.
- Adhere to the management of SLED (shelf life expire date) controlled materials through our ERP system.
- Support team with 5S projects and maintain relationships with key internal customers.
- Unloading daily deliveries, processing goods receipted in line with the goods receipt procedure on our ERP system, and storing parts in designated locations using lifting equipment as applicable.
- Processing movements of goods using our ERP system, cutting of raw material bars into smaller bars and billets, and electronically issuing material on our ERP system.
- Physical and electronic kitting and issuing of raw material to machine shop, in accordance with procedure, and put away and issuing of parts, maintaining correct stock levels in the correct locations, physically and electronically.
Requirements
- English and Maths GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C)
- Responsive, methodical, and organized, especially for document management
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
- Solutions-focused, curious thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Compliance with the company's standards, methods, and logistics tools
- IT understanding in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
