Job Description

At Safran Helicopter Engines, we're seeking a skilled Logistics Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of spares, components, and engines to our maintenance centre and manufacturing work centres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily and weekly work plans on our ERP system, ensuring accurate administration and adherence to stock management systems.
  • Assist with daily physical picking and kitting requirements, including material movement on our ERP system.
  • Adhere to the management of SLED (shelf life expire date) controlled materials through our ERP system.
  • Support team with 5S projects, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal customers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Unloading daily deliveries, processing goods receipted in line with our goods receipt procedure on our ERP system.
  • Storage of parts in designated locations using lifting equipment as applicable.
  • Processing movements of goods using our ERP system.
  • Cutting of raw material bars into smaller bars and billets, electronically issuing material on our ERP system.
  • Physical and electronic kitting and issuing of raw material to the machine shop, in accordance with procedure.
  • Put away and issuing of parts, maintaining correct stock levels in the correct locations, physically and electronically.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • English and Maths GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C)
  • Responsive, methodical, and organised approach, especially for document management
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
  • Solutions-focused, curious thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Compliance with our company's standards, methods, and logistics tools
  • IT understanding in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
