About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Performance Manager to join our team at Safran Helicopter Engines. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing supplier performance and improvement, coordinating activities with internal departments, and identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Performance Management: Support and manage supplier performance and improvement, ensuring that suppliers meet our quality and delivery standards.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate activities with internal departments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Supplier Management: Manage a panel of suppliers through regular communication and meetings, ensuring that they are aware of our expectations and requirements.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Assess supply chain capabilities and capacity, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these areas.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, ensuring that our supply chain is resilient and able to meet our business needs.
  • Reporting and Communication: Facilitate monthly supplier reviews and reports, utilizing performance measures to communicate overall performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Action Planning: Establish action plans and monitor implementation, ensuring that suppliers are aware of our expectations and requirements.
  • Supplier Development: Manage supplier development and risk assessment, ensuring that our suppliers are able to meet our quality and delivery standards.

Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in supply chain/production, preferably in customer/supplier relationship areas.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Lean 6 Sigma and MRPII, proficiency in Microsoft package and ERP systems, skills in problem solving and supplier development, quality of process flows and capacity analysis.
  • Skills: Supply chain management experience in aerospace, defence, or manufacturing sectors, ability to improve supplier performance using lean methodologies, proficiency in root cause analysis and improvement plans.
  • Qualities: Professional and detail-oriented, self-motivated and well-organized, strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
