Job Title: Computational Chemistry Research Specialist

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Remote, UK

Contract Type: Full-time

Seniority Level: Associate

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a PhD-level background in computational chemistry and/or molecular modeling. The successful candidate will have experience in scientific programming with Python, C, or C++ and a strong passion for developing tools that enable the design of drugs of the future.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching new computational chemistry techniques and developing algorithms and methods.
  • Working independently on scientific research projects and producing white papers and scientific publications.
  • Driving validation and early-stage improvement of new software features based on academic and internal research.
  • Testing developmental software features in 'live' scenarios and liaising with other scientists.
  • Presenting research worldwide to customers and at scientific conferences.

  • Experience with free energy methods (desirable).
