Academic Researcher in Physical Chemistry

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Academic Researcher in Physical Chemistry to join our team. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject and significant postdoctoral experience in physical chemistry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence, a proven ability to develop and lead their own research programs, and a commitment to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research in physical chemistry and contribute to the development of the Department's research strategy.
- Teach and assess students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including designing and delivering courses in physical chemistry.
- Supervise and mentor postgraduate students, including PhD students.
- Contribute to the development of the Department's research and teaching programs, including collaborating with other academics and researchers.
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant subject.
- Significant postdoctoral experience in physical chemistry.
- Strong evidence of research excellence, including publications and research grants.
- Ability to teach and assess students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Arrangements:
The successful candidate will be based at the University of Cambridge and will be employed on a full-time basis.
