Job Overview
The University of Cambridge invites applications for a research grant to support projects directly leading to a PhD in the field of colloid science. This studentship aims to foster innovative research and provide financial assistance to talented individuals pursuing higher education.

**Key Details**
- Salary: £21,500 per annum (EPSRC standard rate + £2,000) plus University Composition Fee at home rate
- Location: Cambridge University
- Award duration: 3.5 years with 42 months maintenance grant and 36 months contributions towards consumables and Composition Fee

**Job Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be required to conduct research under the supervision of a designated research supervisor. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Conducting experiments and data analysis related to the proposed research project
  2. Presenting research findings through regular progress reports and presentations
  3. Engaging in academic activities, including seminars and workshops

**Requirements**
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must have a strong academic background in biology, chemistry, physics, materials science, or engineering. A Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory. In addition, applicants should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as part of a team.
