About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Based Sales Professional to join our team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
  2. Work closely with Sales teams from Bodyshop Distributors to drive sales and increase market share.
  3. Conduct site visits, technical consultations, and product demonstrations to showcase our products and services.
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Automotive market, specifically targeting Distributors, Car Body Shops, and Garages.
  5. Sell Bodyshop Tools to Distributors and provide exceptional customer service.
  6. Collaborate with Internal teams (Technical Support/Customer Services) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  7. Work towards key performance targets and manage the sales process effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the welding/car body or industrial consumables sector.
  • Technical knowledge of welding consumables and related equipment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven attitude with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Will to travel within the designated sales territory.
  • Aptitude for practically demonstrating machinery.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to communicate well in all situations and at all levels of an organisation.
  • Able to build trusted relationships both face-to-face and via the telephone or online.
  • Patient, persistent, and results-orientated attitude with the ability to handle rejection.
  • Organised approach to sales management with good knowledge of relevant computer programs e.g., CRM software.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • A well-rounded education to GCSE standard 4+ including English and Maths.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £40,000 per annum, with OTE £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
