Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our Appleby Agency, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to new and existing customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Handle a wide range of general insurance queries, both face-to-face and over the telephone, providing accurate and timely responses to customers.
- Cross-sell our varied product range to give customers a service that truly suits their needs, while maximising sales opportunities.
- Work closely with our Financial Advisors to promote their services and schedule appointments with customers.
- Provide comprehensive support to customers, actively contributing to their financial well-being and meeting their needs.
- Meet the requirements and standards of NFU Mutual, the Training and Competence Scheme, and our regulators, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, willing to learn, and open to new ideas. You will bring an approachable style to building relationships with customers and colleagues alike, being patient and reassuring, and always willing to go at the customer's pace. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail and excellent phone manner.
You will have experience working in a customer service environment, with a strong understanding of regulated environments and the ability to work within them. You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and effective time management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
