About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our Appleby Agency, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to new and existing customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a wide range of general insurance queries, both face-to-face and over the telephone, providing accurate and timely responses to customers.
  • Cross-sell our varied product range to give customers a service that truly suits their needs, while maximising sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with our Financial Advisors to promote their services and schedule appointments with customers.
  • Provide comprehensive support for customers' financial requirements, promoting our array of services to meet their needs.
  • Meet the requirements and standards of NFU Mutual, the Training and Competence Scheme, and our regulators, ensuring compliance with the Insurance Distribution Directive.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, willing to learn, and open to new ideas. You should have a strong willingness to build relationships with customers and colleagues, be patient and reassuring, and have excellent communication skills. Experience working in a customer service environment and within a regulated environment would be desirable, but we will provide the necessary training to ensure your success in this role.

  • A competitive salary up to £23,000 depending on experience.
