Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our Appleby Agency, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to focus on your own continuous development and growth. You will be trained to promote and sell NFU Mutual products and services that meet our customers' needs, while building long-term, effective relationships with our customers.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will handle a wide range of general insurance queries, both face-to-face and over the telephone. You will also have the opportunity to cross-sell our varied product range to give our customers a service that truly suits their needs.
We are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers, and we aim to offer comprehensive support for their various financial requirements. To actively contribute to this endeavour, you will promote the array of services offered by our Financial Advisors, and work to cultivate customer interest in these services.
We will provide you with everything you need to develop your knowledge and skills to ensure you provide the best possible service to our customers. You will be required to meet the requirements and standards of NFU Mutual, the Training and Competence Scheme, and our regulators.
About YouWe are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, with a strong willingness to learn and open to new ideas. You will bring an approachable style to building relationships with customers and colleagues alike, and be patient and reassuring in your interactions with customers.
You will have experience working in a customer service environment, and be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. You will also have strong organisational skills and effective time management.
