About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at TRCGroup. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day Care: Provide daily care and support to children and young people, including attending appointments, education, cleaning, cooking, and engaging in activities.
  • Safe Environment: Ensure a safe and consistent care environment that encourages children and young people to develop and grow.
  • Positive Relationships: Build positive relationships with children and young people, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
  • Documentation: Complete daily paperwork to a high standard and liaise with professional networks, including Social Workers, Police, Mental Health Services, and Youth Offending Teams.
  • Leadership: Work with the Registered Manager to provide high standards of care and supervision, ensuring sensitivity, dignity, and respect towards children and staff.
  • Decision-Making: Make decisions in the absence of the Registered Manager and empower others to do the same.
  • On-Call Rota: Participate in the on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise members of the team in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Requirements
  • Probation Period: Complete a satisfactory probation period.
  • Driving Licence: Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Qualifications: Hold QCF Level 3/4 in Children's Health & Social Care.
