Key Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Clerk and Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting and directing patients and other visitors to the surgery
  • Making appointments and giving out appointment cards
  • Dealing with requests for visits and information
  • Registering new patients, temporary patients, emergency patients, and those requiring immediate treatment

You will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks, such as filing medical records, handling repeat prescriptions, and contacting patients regarding test results and hospital letters.

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
