Medical Support Specialist

Norton Canes Practice is seeking a skilled and friendly Medical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
We are a very friendly and dynamic practice with approximately 4100 patients, serving the local community with compassion and expertise. Our team includes 1 GP Partner, 1 Practice Manager, experienced nursing staff, and a dedicated administration team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage the reception desk, answering phones, and handling correspondence efficiently.
- Process appointment requests, book interpreters, and manage home visits as required.
- Maintain accurate records, update patient information, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of patient services.
