Smile Support Team Member

We're a friendly dental practice that's dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting our dentists during procedures and helping to create a welcoming environment for our patients.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our dentists to provide chairside support during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment to the highest standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with patients to ensure they understand their treatment plans.
- Evaluate patient comfort during procedures and provide post-treatment care instructions.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that prioritises patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Qualifications or experience in dental nursing or assisting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High levels of organisation and time management.
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
- A warm and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on building trust and rapport.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.

- Monday to Friday.
- In person at our dental practice.
Experience and Qualifications
- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred).
- Dental Nursing: 1 year (required).
- Valid GDC registration (preferred).
Payscale Information
The estimated salary for this role is approximately £25,600 - £30,200 per annum, based on a 37-hour working week and assuming annual increments. However, this is subject to change based on individual performance and market conditions.
