Job Description

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join its Community Rapid Response and Intermediate Care team as a Bank Staff member. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation journey of patients, working closely with Nurses, Doctors, and support workers to ensure high-quality service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of clinical expertise, ideally within the NHS, and experience of working in a community multidisciplinary team environment. They must also be able to manage healthcare assistants and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in their own homes.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage healthcare assistants and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of the community rapid response and intermediate care team.

Person Specification

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes at all times.
  • HCPC registration and relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Manual handling experience and the ability to lift and move equipment as needed.

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be required to work a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. They must also be able to respond to short-notice shifts as required.
