The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Biodiversity Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to join our team at The Rufford Foundation. As a key member of our conservation team, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the impact of our grants programme on biodiversity conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of our grants programme on biodiversity conservation.
  • Review project updates and reports to track project changes and monitor delivery against proposed plans.
  • Develop high-level indicators for conservation and capacity building, leading in formalising an evaluation framework for The Rufford Foundation across all grant-making.
  • Produce regular reports on project progress, including graphs, tables, and short reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience working within an environmental or biodiversity conservation NGO.
  • Grant-making or project reporting experience, ideally within the conservation sector.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
