Child Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team at We Care Bespoke Ltd. As a Residential Support Professional, you will work closely with young people in a safe and caring environment, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral development. The role requires resilience, consistency, and strong communication skills, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and providing high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the child/young person to maintain daily activities, personal care routines, medication, food preparation, etc.
- Ensure the child's health, personal, emotional well-being, and safety throughout.
- Support the child and staff in challenging situations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records.
- Complete any household chores during the night.
- Support day staff with preparation throughout the night.
- Complete thorough handovers.
- Report any concerns in changes to a child/young person; health, behavior, safeguarding concerns.
Requirements:
- Understands and has experience in thorough record keeping.
- Resilience and consistency.
- High level and strong communication.
- Ability to take direction.
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (children), or equivalent.
- 12 months experience working with children.
- UK Driving License.
