This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our care. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will work closely with our team to provide personalized support and ensure the well-being of our residents.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of thorough record-keeping and be able to maintain accurate records. A high level of communication skills is essential, as well as the ability to take direction and work effectively within a team.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of pay, starting at £12.50-£13.00 per hour, with opportunities for progression and development. Our benefits package includes holiday pay, company pension, supportive office team, free meals, snacks, and drinks in house for all residential staff, and more.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Support the child/young person to maintain evening activities; personal care routines, medication, food preparation, etc.
  2. Ensure to maintain the child's health, personal, emotional well-being and safety throughout.
  3. Maintain accurate and thorough records.
  4. Complete any household chores during the night.
  5. Support day staff with preparation throughout the night.
  6. Complete thorough handovers.
  7. Report any concerns in changes to a child/young person; health, behaviour, safeguarding concerns.
