Night Support Worker Opportunity
We seek a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to vulnerable children and young people in the Northeast of England.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral development in a safe and nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of record-keeping, and the ability to work effectively under direction.
Key Responsibilities- Support the child/young person with daily activities, personal care routines, medication, and other tasks.
- Maintain the child's health, personal, emotional well-being, and safety throughout the night.
- Document accurate and thorough records.
- Contribute to household maintenance during the night.
- Support day staff with preparations and provide seamless handovers.
- Address any concerns regarding changes in a child/young person's health, behavior, or safeguarding issues.
- Previous experience in record-keeping and a strong understanding of data management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (children) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 12 months of experience working in a children's residential setting.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.

Salary: £15.55 per hour (dependent on experience)
Estimated annual salary: £28,500 - £31,500 per year (full-time, 37 hours per week)
