We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker in a 6-bed Children's Residential service in Dudley. This role offers a unique opportunity for career progression and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support young people between the ages of 5-18 with Learning/Physical disabilities, complex health needs, autism, and challenging behaviours.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children, protecting them from risks to their health and welfare.
  • Contribute to maintaining a homely and friendly culture in the homes.
  • Deal with challenging behaviours when necessary.
  • Provide support for the children and young people in the home, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, parents, Social Workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Children's Support Worker or in a similar social care setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Must be a driver, as you will be required to transport the young people from time to time.
  • Must be over the age of 21.
  • Must be an empathetic and relatable person with good listening and communication skills.
