Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker in Dudley. This is a meaningful role with opportunities for career progression and personal development.

About the Role:

  • Support young people between the ages of 5-18 with Learning/Physical disabilities, complex health needs, autism, and challenging behaviors.
  • Work in a 6-bed Children's Residential service with a homely and friendly culture.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, parents, Social Workers, and other professionals.
  • Provide support for personal care, medication, and daily living activities.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of individual care plans, guidelines, and preferred methods of communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Children's Support Worker or in a similar social care setting is desirable.
  • Must be a driver with a full driver's license and a car.
  • Must be over the age of 21.
  • Empathetic and relatable person with good listening and communication skills.
