We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker in Dudley. This role offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people with learning and physical disabilities, complex health needs, autism, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support young people between the ages of 5-18 with their daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and protection of the children, maintaining a homely and friendly environment.
  • Assist with household chores, such as cleaning and laundry, and manage challenging behaviors when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar social care setting or with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • Must be a driver with a full driver's licence and a car, as transportation of young people may be required.
  • Must be over the age of 21 and possess good listening and communication skills.
