About the Role:
  • Support young people between the ages of 5-18 with Learning/Physical disabilities, complex health needs, autism, and challenging behaviors.
  • Work in a meaningful role with opportunities for career progression and personal development.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and safety of the young people.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the young people's physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Support with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar social care setting or with young people.
  • Full driver's license and a car for transporting young people.
  • Empathetic and relatable person with good listening and communication skills.
