Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the MD and support the leadership teams to deliver the people agenda.
  • Build and develop strong stakeholder management, enhancing and contributing to senior teams.
  • Provide strategic HR leadership aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage compliance with UK legislation and company policy.
  • Oversee all recruitment and talent management, including workforce and headcount planning.
  • Manage employee relations within a unionized environment.
  • Identify and develop existing training and development programs.
  • Implement performance management and review frameworks.
  • Develop policies and procedures in line with legislation.
  • Develop HR analytics for Group reporting and information.
  • Develop compensation and reward strategies.

Requirements:

  • Level 7 CIPD or HR degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience gained within unionized environments, ideally in engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or similar.
  • HR Team management and leadership capability.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ER, recruitment, performance management, and training within unionized environments.
