Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Social Worker to join our Care and Support teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing risk in complex cases, supporting others to develop risk management skills, and taking the lead in professional development and reflective practice sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry a small caseload and assess and manage risk in more complex cases
- Support others to develop risk management skills and provide oversight of assessments and care plans
- Take the lead in professional development and reflective practice sessions within the team
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should be motivated and determined to achieve successful outcomes for children and young people. Skilful and confident communication is essential to sustain engagement with families in fluctuating circumstances. You must possess a wide range of knowledge and skills to identify risks to children and help manage those risks, ensuring proportionate and timely intervention is provided.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
