**About the Role:**

Powys County Council is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join their Care and Support Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing a social work service to individual children and young people, with a focus on keeping them safe and enabling them to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with children and families in need of protection, care and support. You will be able to provide appropriate support to children and families, using your enthusiasm and motivation to promote successful outcomes.

This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to identify and manage risks to children. You will work closely with colleagues and partners to ensure effective delivery of services.

We offer a competitive salary of £**£32,000-£35,000 per annum**, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.
