**Brain injury support worker/ Personal Assistant**
**£14:00per hour weekdays and £15:00 per hour weekends, bank holiday**
**Up to 10 hours per week (**_**3 x shifts)**_
- **Tuesday, **_**Wednesday**_**, Thursday and/or Friday 14:30 until 18:00 **_
Brain injury Support Worker / PA in Powys.
A great opportunity to assist the lovely Emily a 42 year old lady, who has suffered an acquired brain injury and is looking for support around her daily living, child care and housekeeping including, cooking and cleaning. Up to £15.00 Gross per Hour
**About this client**:Emily is an active and social 42 years old, she lives in her own home with her young daughter (10) and husband. Emily has suffered from an acquired brain injury and requires support with daily living, child care and help around the house including cleaning, cooking etc. Emily and the family love animals and have horses and dogs. Emily is very excited to have support to help her during the week.
**Overview of role**:This role is all about supporting Emily during the week, enabling, and facilitating her with childcare and to help around the house with cooking and cleaning. Emily does NOT require any personal care.
**Who this job would suit**:This will be a fantastic role for a *female, therapy/teaching assistant, or individual with experience in childcare and or cleaning, seeking additional hours. Someone with a real passion for helping people to reach their full potential and confidence working with children and animals. You will be enthusiastic, positive, and flexible.
You must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working with clients with acquired brain injury
- Experience in childcare
- Good understanding of the local area
- Have a full driving licence,
- Have a flexible and positive attitude and be able to work on own initiative
- The ability to motivate and enable through support and care
- Willingness to assist with housekeeping, childcare and support with daily living activities.
