About the Role

This position is part of the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Team at Powys County Council.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to Chair Child protection Conferences and Child Looked After reviews. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring care plans to prevent drift and delay, promoting the voice of the child and participation and engagement of children and families.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess excellent chairing skills, including the ability to manage meetings, summarise and present information, minute taking for some meetings, good organisation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for chairing key care planning meetings, monitoring and reviewing care plans, advocating on behalf of the child/ren & Families, working effectively with partner agencies, and working effectively within a team and the wider service.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
